Program Description:

Intensive Safety Planning ( ISP ) : The program will work with Department of Children and Families to help families developed and implemented a safety plan within 20 days so that the child could be returned home to the family.

Program Eligibility:

           The DCF is the sole referral source for any DCF family in the Greater Bridgeport area, who has been determined to be at imminent risk of removal from home, relative caregiver and/or foster home, due to abuse, neglect or other reasons.

Accessing Services:

          Services are provided during regular working hours ( Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. ) and via beeper during evenings and weekends.

Client Fees:

          There is no fee to the families for participating in the IFP/R program.
