Hispanic Family Outreach Services


Advocacy, Case Management and supportive counseling are provided to children and their families who have difficulty accessing community services due to language or cultural barriers.

Program Eligibility :

The Hispanic Family Outreach Services ( HFOS ) helps to improve the quality of children's lives by ensuring that disenfranchised families and those families that are limited by financial, language and other problems have sufficient access to available and appropriate services. The specific services offered are case management, advocacy and supportive counseling services. The services are delivered in the home, office, or visits to other agencies. Any Spanish-speaking parent(s) with children under the age of 18, who are long term resident or newly arriving to Bridgeport, Fairfield, Stratford, Easton, Trumbull, or Monroe are eligible.

Accessing Services:

The services may be accessed during regular working hours ( Monday through Friday from 9 a.m to 5 p.m ) by calling 203 394 6529 Ext. 3005.

Client Fee :

There is NO fee to the families participating in the HFOS program.
